4,000 kg/h Pasta Plant Commissioned in Kazakhstan

A grain investor coming from flour milling has started producing pasta under its own brand: a 3,000 kg/h short-cut line and a 1,000 kg/h spaghetti line are now in operation.

The investor in Kazakhstan is a well-established group from the grain trade and flour milling business. It wanted to turn the semolina produced in its own mills into a value-added product and to appear on the shelves under its own brand. The project was planned with two lines accordingly: 3,000 kg/h for short-cut products, which see high demand, and 1,000 kg/h for spaghetti.

The plant was commissioned in 2025. Both lines are controlled by Siemens PLC, with Schneider components selected for the panels. Production continues for both the domestic market and export.

For millers whose raw material is already in place, pasta is a recurring investment model: we applied the same structure at the mill-integrated plant planned from scratch in Russia and in the value-added investment of a flour producer in Uzbekistan.

A second customer in the same country is having a 2,000 kg/h spaghetti line installed; commissioning is planned towards the end of 2026.
