Two Short-Cut Lines Commissioned in Ethiopia

Short-cut lines of 500 kg/h each, installed by two separate investors in two separate factories, have started production.

The two projects in Ethiopia are independent of each other: different investors, different factories, the same solution. Both were investors entering the sector from scratch; alongside the installation, operator training and on-site support during the first production period were provided.

Two independent investors choosing the same model means validation of both the market and the solution. We had seen the same pattern with the two wholesalers in Iraq who moved from imports to domestic production.

The third and fourth projects in the country are under installation: the 800 kg/h short-cut line is planned for commissioning in November 2026, and the 1,500 kg/h line of the producer extending its range into spaghetti towards the end of 2026.
