Talia Makina delivered three turnkey lines to a single pasta producer in Cameroon across two investment phases: a 500 kg/h short-cut line and a 750 kg/h spaghetti line in 2023; and, following the market success of the first investment, a 2,000 kg/h spaghetti line currently under installation (planned production start: September 2026).

A food producer operating in Cameroon, one of Central Africa's developing pasta markets, chose Talia Makina for its pasta investment. The first installation, commissioned in 2023, brought together a 500 kg/h short-cut line and a 750 kg/h spaghetti line at the same facility.
The products from the first two lines earned the customer a strong position in the market. Building on this success, the customer made a new investment decision, and installation of a 2,000 kg/h spaghetti line began with Talia Makina once again; the line is planned to start production in September 2026. A repeat investment from the same customer is the most concrete proof of line performance and partnership.
The lines run on an AISI 304 food-grade stainless steel body with Siemens PLC automation and Yaskawa components. The short-cut line produces shells, square cut, charleston, fusilli, small elbow and penne cut shapes; the spaghetti lines produce 1.5 mm spaghetti.
The two operating lines have a combined installed capacity of 1,250 kg/h, delivering a theoretical output of up to 30 tonnes per day in continuous 24-hour operation. When all three lines are complete, total capacity will reach 3,250 kg/h with a theoretical daily potential of 78 tonnes. With turnkey installations in 18 countries since 2007, Talia Makina supports regional producers in switching to local production.

Yes. The Siemens PLC based automation system supports remote connection; with authorized access, fault diagnosis, parameter optimization and software updates can be performed remotely, and on-site service is planned when needed.
