Complete Pasta Production Plant

Home » Complete Pasta Production Plant

A complete pasta production plant is a factory delivered as one integrated project: raw material intake, dosing and mixing, vacuum extrusion, drying, cooling, storage, packaging integration, process utilities and automation, all commissioned under a single point of responsibility. Talia Makina has delivered 42 turnkey pasta lines in 18 countries since 2007, from Gaziantep, Türkiye.

01 · Supply scope

What “complete” actually includes

Two quotations for a pasta plant can differ by a wide margin simply because one includes the boiler, the chiller and the silos and the other does not. Our supply scope is written line by line so you can compare it against any other offer.

IN TALIA’S SCOPEBUYER’S SCOPE
Semolina / flour intake, storage silos and pneumatic conveyingFactory building and foundations

Multi-tier dryer (short-cut) or multi-stage drying tunnel (long-cut) with independent temperature, humidity and airflow controlPermits, licences and local certifications
Cooling and finished-product storage / stabilisation silosRaw material, consumables and operating staff
Boiler, chiller, compressor and water-softening unit
Packaging line integration: packaging machines are sourced from specialist partners and integrated under Talia’s responsibility
Siemens / Schneider PLC and SCADA automation, electrical panels, cabling within the line
AISI 304 food-grade stainless steel construction

02 · Production lines

Two line types, sized separately

Short-cut pasta production line, general view

Short-cut pasta line · 500–6,000 kg/hPenne, fusilli, elbow macaroni and more than 30 shapes by die change. Multi-tier drying.Short-cut line details →
Long-cut (spaghetti) pasta production line, general view

Long-cut pasta line · 500–4,000 kg/hSpaghetti and linguine on a hanger system with a multi-stage drying tunnel.Long-cut line details →

Most new factories start with a short-cut line and add long-cut in year two or three. When both are planned from the start, the two lines share raw material intake, utilities and the automation backbone, which lowers the total investment compared with two separate projects.

Frequently asked questions

What does “turnkey” mean in a Talia contract?Design, manufacturing, shipment, installation, commissioning, operator training and warranty under one contract and one responsible party. The building, its ventilation and the utility connections to the battery limit remain the buyer’s scope, and we state this in writing.
Is the packaging line included?Packaging machines are not manufactured by Talia. They are sourced from specialist partners, specified to your formats and bag sizes, and integrated into the line under our responsibility, so there is one commissioning and one contact.
Are the boiler, chiller and compressor in the scope?Yes. Process hot water, chilled water, compressed air and water softening are part of the line supply, not separate purchases.
Can I start with one line and add the second later?Yes. The layout is prepared so that a long-cut line can be added next to a short-cut line, sharing intake, utilities and automation. Planning the space at the start avoids rebuilding later.
Which raw materials can the plant run?Durum semolina, soft wheat flour and blends. Raw material analysis is requested at the quotation stage because protein, particle size and moisture set the drying programme.
What happens after commissioning?24-month warranty, remote technical support, spare parts supply and service visits. A critical spare-parts list and maintenance plan are handed over at commissioning.
Where do you install?Africa, the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Europe and now the Americas. Shipping from Türkiye to most of these regions is measured in days, and a service engineer can be on site quickly.
