Four Turnkey Pasta Production Lines in Two Factories in Türkiye
Talia Makina has installed a total of four turnkey lines for two pasta producers in Türkiye since 2020; the latest, a 2,000 kg/h spaghetti line, was commissioned in early 2025. Total installed capacity is 7,000 kg/h.

Project Story
Türkiye is one of the world's leading pasta producers and exporters — and it is Talia Makina's home market. While the lines we manufacture in Gaziantep reach the world from here, we have also installed four turnkey lines for two producers in the domestic market.
The first producer entered pasta production from scratch, starting with the 1,000 kg/h short-cut and 1,000 kg/h spaghetti lines installed in 2020. As production began, it started exporting to 23 countries — and those exports are still going strong. On the momentum of its products, it ordered a 2,000 kg/h spaghetti line in the last quarter of 2023; the line was commissioned in early 2025. A repeat investment by the same customer is the most concrete proof of line performance.
The second producer is one of the long-established names of the pasta industry, with Italian production lines already installed in its plant. When it decided to raise capacity, it chose Talia Makina: the 3,000 kg/h short-cut line commissioned in 2023 joined production alongside the existing European-made lines. A long-established producer's choice shows our lines proving themselves side by side with international equipment.
The lines run with an AISI 304 food-grade stainless steel body; both factories use Siemens PLC with complete Schneider automation components. The short-cut lines produce a wide range of shapes led by penne cut, penne, square cut, fusilli, triple fusilli, elbow, noodles, vermicelli and orzo; the spaghetti lines produce spaghetti in 1.2 and 1.6 mm diameters.
The four lines have a total installed capacity of 7,000 kg/h — theoretically up to 168 tonnes per day in 24-hour continuous operation. In every project, remote support and spare parts supply continue uninterrupted even after the warranty period has ended. With turnkey installations in 18 countries since 2007, Talia Makina supports producers' growth in its home market and in export markets alike.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a pasta production line installed in Türkiye?
Project planning, line design, manufacturing, shipment, site installation, commissioning and operator training are carried out turnkey from a single source. This full scope was applied in all four line installations in Türkiye; with our manufacturing facilities located in Gaziantep, installation and service processes for domestic projects are especially fast.
What capacities were installed in Türkiye?
The first factory runs a 1,000 kg/h short-cut line with 1,000 and 2,000 kg/h spaghetti lines, and the second factory a 3,000 kg/h short-cut line — 7,000 kg/h of installed capacity in total, theoretically up to 168 tonnes per day in 24-hour continuous operation.
Which pasta shapes are produced on the lines in Türkiye?
The short-cut lines produce a wide range of shapes led by penne cut, penne, square cut, fusilli, triple fusilli, elbow, noodles, vermicelli and orzo; the spaghetti lines produce spaghetti in 1.2 and 1.6 mm diameters. With circular die changes, more than 30 short-cut shapes can be produced on the same line.
Do customers invest with Talia Makina more than once?
Yes. After its two lines installed in 2020, the first producer in Türkiye ordered a 2,000 kg/h spaghetti line in the last quarter of 2023; it was commissioned in early 2025. Repeat investment is the most concrete indicator of line performance.
Can a producer with Italian or other European lines add a Talia line?
Yes. The second producer in Türkiye chose Talia Makina's 3,000 kg/h short-cut line to raise capacity alongside the Italian lines already installed in its plant. Our lines integrate with the existing production setup; such choices by long-established producers show performance proven side by side with international equipment.
How are Turkish pasta producers positioned in exports?
Türkiye is one of the world's leading pasta exporters. Our first customer in Türkiye began exporting to 23 countries as soon as production started, and those exports remain active today; with the right capacity and product quality, a domestic investment can quickly turn into export revenue.
What automation do the lines use?
The lines in both factories run on Siemens PLC-based automation with complete Schneider components. Automatic process and drying control is standard.
What do the warranty and after-sales support cover?
All lines are delivered with a 24-month standard warranty. In the Türkiye projects, remote support and spare parts supply continue uninterrupted even after the warranty periods end; maintenance planning and service requests are handled by the Talia Makina technical team.
Is remote technical support available?
Yes. The Siemens PLC-based automation system supports remote connection; with authorised access, fault diagnosis, parameter optimisation and software updates can be done remotely. For plants within Türkiye, same-day on-site service can also be scheduled when needed.
