One of Turkmenistan's established groups, active across many sectors, decided to enter pasta production in line with its growth plans on the food side, and chose Talia Makina as its turnkey partner.
The first investment in 2022 set the scale of the entry from the start: a 600 kg/h short-cut line and a 600 kg/h spaghetti line were installed together in the same factory. The group thus entered the market not with a single product family but with both short-cut shapes and spaghetti at the same time; its ready distribution power carried this wide range to the shelves quickly.
The lines run on Siemens PLC-based automation with Yaskawa components in the panels. All product-contact surfaces are made of food-grade AISI 304 stainless steel. The short-cut lines can produce dozens of shapes led by fusilli, penne, elbow and shell with a round-die change; the spaghetti line produces in 1.2 and 1.5 mm diameters.
The result came quickly: on the back of the first two lines' market success, the group added a second 600 kg/h short-cut line to the same factory in 2024. Short-cut capacity doubled; the plant total reached 1,800 kg/h (theoretically 43.2 tonnes per day). A customer choosing Talia Makina again at the growth stage is one of our most frequently repeated reference patterns.
